Once the client payment relating to your commission clears, your referral payment is recorded for the next payout run. We pay partner commissions by bank transfer every 15 days. No invoice chasing, no payment schedules.
For larger staged-payment projects, commission is paid proportionally as Malta Digital receives the corresponding client payments. For example, a €50,000 project paid 50% deposit, 30% milestone and 20% on completion has the 10% partner commission paid proportionally as those three payments clear, not all upfront from the first deposit, unless otherwise commercially agreed.
Ongoing monthly advertising work doesn't carry the same upfront commission as a one-time project. Instead, you earn a recurring share of Malta Digital's management fee for the first six months.
Commission applies only to Malta Digital's management and service fees, never to Meta or Google ad spend, media budgets, external creative costs, third-party services or VAT. If a client cancels before six months, commission stops when the client's paid service stops. Only commission on funds actually collected by Malta Digital is payable.
Funded advisory work (Process & Systems Review, Marketing & Growth Strategy): referral commissions for funded advisory work are agreed where Malta Digital or the assigned provider is eligible to deliver the funded service. We do not promise grant-based commissions on these projects.
Most software affiliate programs pay 20–30% of a €97 monthly subscription. That's €19–€29 per referral, provided the customer doesn't churn in month two. You spend more time tracking commissions than earning them.
